pH Electrode - HF/Alkaline resistant, Tip replaceable
The pH tip and liquid-junction tip are cartridges for easy replacement and maintenance.
The body is made of PPS (polyphenylene sulfide), which has excellent heat and chemical resistance and is resistant to breakage. It also features liquid grounding to resist noise.
The 6171-50B model features a response film designed for hydrofluoric acid resistance at the pH tip, while the liquid-junction tip is made of porous alumina. It has an approximate service life of one month under severe conditions, such as a hydrofluoric acid concentration of 1,000 ppm at 25°C and a pH of 3–4.
The 6172-50B model is equipped with an alkali-resistant response film. It has an approximate service life of three months under severe conditions, such as exposure to 0.1 mol/L caustic soda at 60°C.
